His Worshipful Mayor of Harringey Councillor Stephen Mann gave the welcome address    followed by opening remarks by Ms Gaise – The Head of Welfare and Education on behalf of the Deputy Ghana High Commissioner Her Excellency Madam Rita Tani Iddi.  Guest Speakers included Julia Yang of the Haringey Branch of The National Autistic Society, Ali Golding of MovementWorks, Dr Gifty Edila (Hon), Chanteese Black and was attended by over 100 people.

Justine Lutterodt FRSA Director of Centre of Sychronous Leadership was officially introduced as the Patron of Brightstars (she attended with her leadership team – Mr Elias Westerdahl and Mariya Ali) and TAGPAY Directors Callum and Kel (Kany – Marketing  and Branding) announced Brightstars as their preferred Charity.  Mr Kwabss Owusu represented TJX Foundation.

In attendance was Cllr Jennifer Mann (Mayor’s Consort) and Ms Ghana UK 2017 Sabina Awuni and Marvis Osei, the CEO of Ms Ghana UK Foundation.   Louise Annan (UK Ghanaian based Artiste) was in attendance.  The Directors of Markfield were in attendance including representatives from various organisations, family, friends and supporters of Brightstars.

Empire Network and GNTV/Radio were in attendance and broadcasted the event on their social media links, TV and Radio.   MC Nana Slick officiated the event.

We thank all our guests for celebrating the launch of Brightstars with us, we are grateful for your support.  We also extend our appreciation for those who could not attended but supported us through donations.
