Brightstars was honoured to host the reigning Ms Ghana UK 2018 Ms Akua Ohenawaa Anim and 1st Runner Up Ms Sheri Gaulder-Akoto at our sports and drumming session this Saturday 17th November 2018.  The young ladies embodied the notion of Beauty and Brains.  Very intelligent young women who are using the crown to do good work.  They talked about their charity work which was focussed around mental health and gave Brightstars tremendous support.  We in turn taught them how to play the African drum, thanks to our wonderful tutor Felix.

We would like to thank the CEOs of Ms Ghana Foundation Cilla and Marvis for their support of our club and joining the beauty queens for this visit.

Ms Anim and Ms Gaulder-Akoto  promised to visit us again and I know our members can not wait for the next visit.  We are grateful for their words of encouragement and the support that they have promised to give Brightstars.  Our regards to 2nd Runner Up Ms Monaliza Cudjoe.  We are proud of you ladies.

Well done to you Ladies for the work you are doing in highlighting mental health issues.

We at Brightstars support Ms Ghana UK Foundation.  Please follow them on facebook
